Prof. Sharma had the honor of hosting Prof. Erach Bharucha, a luminary in academia, wildlife photography, and nature conservation. As the Director of the Institute for Environment Education and Research in Pune and the Chairman of the Maharashtra State Biodiversity Board, his insights into wetlands and mangroves conservation were truly enlightening.

​Anjana, MSc student selected for the prestigious ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship 2024 will be studying at ETH Zurich, Institute of Integrative Biology (IBZ), Global Ecosystem Ecology under the expert guidance of Prof. Dr. Thomas Crowther, she will explore the intricate interplay between land restoration efforts and wildlife dynamics.

Successfully conducted a two-day training program on “ Sustainable Horizons: Navigating Solid and Plastic Management towards a Zero-Waste Campus", which has been approved by RGNIYD Sriperumbudur by the Department of Environmental Science, CURAJ. The training programme was coordinated by Dr.Garima Kaoushik and Dr. D. Bhagwan.

Recieving a momento at Two day National Conference on "Recent Advances in Medicinal Plants Research (A special emphasis on cultivation and processing of Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)" was held from 28-29 February 2024 in the Department of Environmental Science, School of Earth Sciences, Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer from Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Kumar Dadhich, National Medicinal Plants Board, New Delhi's Chief Executive Officer, inaugurated the conference.

Great pleasure that to meet CSIR-NEERI scientists led by Dr. Sunita Shastry on the occasion of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the CSIR-NEERI and the Central University of Rajasthan.

Congratulations to Anjana, Sonal, Shalini, Astha, and Basant on completing their MSc degree in Environmental Science! They've put in excellent work under my guidance. I wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

Honoured and humbled to announce that Prof. Sharma have been awarded the "Aravalli Gaurav Award" for our dedicated efforts in saving the Aravalli range. This recognition was presented to me at the World Environment Day summit, organized by the Rajasthan Environment and Energy Conservation Centre at Hotel Clarks Amer in Jaipur. I would like to thank the Rajasthan Environment and Energy Conservation Centre for organizing this summit and recognizing the importance of protecting our natural resources. This award belongs to all of us who have worked tirelessly towards conserving the Aravalli range.
