Present Academic/Administrative Achievements & Responsibilities 

  • Academic & Administrative Achievements: As Head (Department of Environmental Science), Dean (School of Earth Sciences), and Proctor, Central University of Rajasthan From 30.12.2015 onward

  • DST selected the department and sanctioned the support of Rs. 80 lakhs under FIST (Level 1 category) on 16th December 2016 for a period of five years (2016- 2021). 

  • Successfully established new academic department (Department of Atmospheric Sciences) under School of Earth Sciences with Infrastructure, Syllabus, Admission, Faculty recruitment and launched new programme in M.Sc. Atmospheric Science in CURAJ.

  • Successfully Completed the Approval for Setup of “Centre for Desert Studies” in CURAJ.  

  • Successfully launched 25 IIRS (ISRO)-EDUSAT based learning programmes in RS & GIS.

  • Successfully established a dedicated RS & GIS Labs in EVS Department, CURAJ.

  • Successfully conducted 03 days National Training Program on Geo-spatial Technologies supported by DST-NRDMS.

  • Successfully organized Industry–Academic meetings for training & placements of students. 

  • Established an academic linkage with different International and national institutions i.e. ITC-Netherland, Universiade de Évora, Portugal, Garno-Altaisk State University, Russia, UANL, Mexico, AIT-Thailand, IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Bhubaneswar, IIRS, SAC, NRSC (ISRO) etc.
